Donald is heavily involved in the strategic direction of the company, working to ensure the business is customer focused and works with our clients to deliver on long-term goals. Donald’s first business is regarded as one of the best DeLaval dealerships nationally and is known for working well with Dairy Farmers. Donald founded Southland Farm Services, a DeLaval dealership based in Invercargill in 1997. Donald is now based in Wanaka, living with his wife Johanna.
Michael is responsible for the day-to-day running of Canterbury Farm Services. Michael has previously worked for DeLaval as the South Island Aftermarket & Consumables District Sales Manager. Michael’s grown up involved in the family farm; milking 450 cows near Pukekohe, in the North Island. Now living in Lincoln, Michael is excited at being involved with Canterbury Farm Services, committing to the Canterbury dairy industry. Michael’s focus is the rural customers.
Shaun manages the plumbing division, Canterbury Plumbing and Pumps. Based in Ashburton, Shaun covers a wide range of tasks including quoting, customer queries and of course getting his hands dirty. Shaun covers rural, domestic and commercial plumbing throughout the Canterbury area. Shaun lives in Ashburton with his wife May and two young children. Originally a chef, Shaun turned his hands to the plumbing trade several years ago and hasn’t looked back. Shaun had previously been a plumbing manager at another dairy plumbing company before coming to Canterbury Plumbing & Pumps to go out on his own. Unfortunately a Chiefs supporter, he coaches the Rakaia Senior B team in his spare time.
Alison is our Office Administrator taking care of General office duties from Creditors/debtors to customer service as well as Inventory Control and Health and Safety along with 15 years office experience in Engineering and retail. Alison moved to NZ 25 years ago from Ireland. She has lived and worked in the rural sector since moving to Ashburton. Alison is happily married with two teenage children.
